- בּוּרII m. ch. (cmp. בֹּור I) 1) something waste, wild-growing, whence weed, brier. Targ. Is. 7:23; a. e. (always with הֹובַאי q. v.; h. text שמיר ושית). 2) (adj.) coarse, indigestible. Pl. בּוּרִין. Koh. R. to I, 18 the one ate מלין ב׳ coarse food.
